Client Testimonials

Miraculous results. Nothing short of amazing. I walked out being able to raise my right arm completely straight up which I have not been able to do in 4 years. Mark was conscientious of my insecurity with a massage and with his continence, he was able to make me feel completely comfortable and relaxed in his care. I was a skeptic about medical massage, NOW I am an advocate of medical massage!! There is something very gifted about his understanding of the muscles and how they respond to pressure in order for healing to occur. Thank you for aligning my body (neck, torso, legs), for reducing my back pain greatly and for creating the ability to raise my arm. I am glad I am no longer a skeptic and can use massage as a means to relieve my pain!-Becky A.

Mark has always helped me with the medical massage. I have a very physical job where I do repetitive heavy lifting for hours on end causing my muscles to bind and twist up, causing severe pain in my lower back, glutes and legs. He is able to release the muscles so that they can go back into place and heal if I have a few days off work. Mark will even come to your home making it super convenient. For anyone dealing with muscle pain, I would definitely recommend Mark! – Matthew F.

Mark is an amazing massage therapist! I go to him for deep tissue massages. He loosens up those tight muscles in my body, especially my back and legs. It’s amazing how much more flexibility I have after one of his massages. He listens to my complaints and then sets off to correct the problems. His knowledge of the body just astounds me and his hands are so talented. Good luck in this new venture. You deserve it!Donna N.

For the past 10 years, I’ve received massage therapy services from a variety of different massage therapists. As great as they are in their way, I have to say that receiving orthopedic massages from Mark has been a fantastic experience in pain relief. Literally as I walk out of the door from receiving a massage, I’m feeling relief. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone that either enjoys or needs massage therapy! – April R.

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever received! I think what sets Mark apart from the others is his personality and personability. I was able to vocalize what I wanted out of the massage, and felt that I could easily communicate during the massage without feeling awkward. We could also carry on a casual conversation. Such a great experience. I left my appointment renewed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend scheduling your appt today. I look forward to my next visit! – Jessica M.

I initially saw Mark for tennis elbow and chronic leg pain from working on concrete floors. Mark is excellent and knowledgeable. One of the best massage therapists. Highly recommended. – Jo H.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson’ s disease my father began to experience lots of muscle pain and stiffness. Initially he was doubtful that massage would alleviate any of his symptoms, but one visit to Mark eliminated all doubt. He has been going for weekly treatments for over 2 years and definitely appreciates Mark’s dedication to treating his condition and overall well being. – LisaMarie S.

I have seen more than a few massage therapists during my life; some of them were very good, but take my word for it, Mark is the best! His fine skills came to the forefront recently when I called upon him to assist in my recuperation from major surgery. Mark offered a gentle massage to my face to relieve its stubborn puffiness (a result of steroid intake) and easily handled the general body aches which were evident during the convalescence period. I always feel fabulous after one of his total body massages, with good reason—there is no denying that his body of knowledge and talented hands are needed by anyone with aches and pains—surgery or no surgery. – Denise M.

I want to share with you the amazing talents of Mark. I have suffered from chronic pain, as a result of auto-immune disease, since 1999. I went the conventional route, because that is what insurance would cover, and got short-term relief and enormous medical debt. To me, that just doesn”t add uo. I chose to go the alternative route for help with chronic pain. The medication alone wreaked havoc on my system and it is not for the greater good of my well being. It was a blessing when I had the pleasure to meet Mark. And discuss all my ailments, frustrations and helplessness of the situation. I just wanted relief. The depth and breath of his knowledge was incredible. I kept asking him, you said you’re a message therapist, not a doctor. He replied, that is correct. I said, your knowledge of all my issues and the techniques you would use was mind boggling. I scheculed my first appointment oh so many months ago. The results from that massage brought tears of relief to my eye’s. He has a gift and I highly recommend Mark. He is my therapist for life. He gave ne results traditional doctor’s medication, cortisone shots, etc. never achieved. I go faithfully to Mark every week. He has given me my quality of life back. I am so grateful to have him as my therapist. – Susan M.

If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would need to have a massage to be pain free, I would have laughed. In 2008 though, I was diagnosed with appendix cancer (yes, appendix cancer—and you just can’t take the appendix out to make it better). Six major surgeries (one known as MOAS—the mother of all surgeries) later and lots of scar tissue, I live with almost constant abdominal pain, and a very small lung capacity. I’ve been to pain management, many doctors, tried yoga, meditation, and acupuncture. It wasn’t until I started seeing Mark Pierpont that I began to get real, lasting results, periods of painlessness, and improved flexibility.

Before each massage, Mark will assess your response from the previous massage to see how you are doing. At the third session, Mark asked me on which shoulder I carry my purse. This led to a discussion about my surgeries and scar tissue followed by therapeutic treatment that left me pain free in my diaphragm. I was able to take a complete deep breath for the first time in eight years. I cried. I cannot describe how wonderful that felt (and still feels!).

I had the most wonderful cancer surgeon in the world. He treated my cancer and made me better. But I have learned that you have to treat the whole body. Each muscle and each nerve affect each other. If one is broken, it can make the others work harder, or work in the wrong way. That is the goal of a good massage session. To put everything in line and make it work better again.

I’ve been to several massage therapists in the last few years. Two were gifted. Mark is one of them. He is the only therapist I’ve worked with who was able to alleviate abdominal/diaphragm pain from multiple surgeries. I see light at the end of the tunnel. I look forward to continuing therapy with Mark.

If you have ever wondered if a massage would help you feel better and live a better quality of life, I recommend giving Muscle Manager a call and setting up an appointment. – Diana P.
